How to Personalize Your Ceremony

Your wedding ceremony can be as exciting, meaningful, and inventive as your reception. Visualize yourself in your guest’s shoes. When the ceremony is done, you want them to walk away from the ceremony – saying, “That was Amazing” We wanted to share great ideas on how you can amaze your guests starting with your wedding ceremony. Talk to your partner and start planning the best half hour of your life.

The Runner

Place a calligraphed one behind the altar or even on the ground for your walk down the aisle. This is a great place to showcase words that are meaningful to you, such as your vows or lyrics from a favorite song.

The Backdrop

Place something pretty behind the altar. May we suggest an ombre flower-filled display or a giant flower wall with your color pallette.

The Ring Bearer

Have your adorable ring bearer carry your bands on something unique, like a personalized pillow or a memento box.

The Flower Girl

The little ones are special, we love to see the tulle skirts on little girls, but you can also give them props to make their role even more fun.

The Bouquets

Have your bridesmaids carry a favorite flower that’s special to you. For example, if your aunt’s name was Rose, a bouquet of roses would be a sweet touch.

The Details

Capture this sacred moment forever in the form of a custom oil painting or watercolor. This gift is something you’ll be sure to cherish in your new home together.

Toasts

At the end of the ceremony, have the ushers pass around your favorite drink to start the festivities. Make your first toast as husband and wife.

The Exit

Forget the tossed rice and have your guests wave ribbon wands or sparklers as you exit the ceremony. You can also place noisemakers on seats so guests can jam while you walk out.
